Position: Laboratory Technician
Job Description:
To facilitate daily operations at the Coopersburg Laboratory by supporting the whole blood, plasma/serum, anticoagulant, brokered and abattoir departments as necessary.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Prepare formulations and products according to established batch records and work orders. Maintain lot number, batch and equipment logbooks in accordance with established procedures. Perform on-line inspection of components/product and immediately notify supervisor of any problems. Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
• Order inventory and supply items as needed. Ensure that all operations are in compliance with existing procedures, manufacturing work instructions and GMP’s.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Observe safety regulations and practices Use good communication and interpersonal skills to maintain in-house customer relations with all functions.
• Assist in the cross training of manufacturing technicians
• Assist in other manufacturing operations as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of previous manufacturing/production experience
• Good oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics are required.
• Windows based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to use calculator, balances and measuring equipment. Ability to use light and heavy material handling equipment and lift to 50lbs. Basic mechanical aptitude for simple maintenance of equipment desirable Ability to give directions and train other and communicate effectively

Education:
• BS in relevant field or High School Diploma or equivalent

Location: Pipersville, PA
Position: Cell Culture Technician
Job Description:
This position will be responsible for scheduling, preparing, and performing cell culture work, cell banking and related functions at the Biotech facility.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• To perform cell culture and cell banking activities such as Hybridoma development and growing of monoclonal cells in culture and to document activities accurately at Lampire with the goal of providing consistent, high quality products and services to our customers with complete, accurate documentation.
• Routine buffer preparation for all processes being performed in the department.
•. Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Batch Records (BR) as needed
• Perform the functions and related tasks in regards to Mab and cell culture activities
• Operate basic laboratory and analytical equipment
• Inspection of cell banking storage units
• Compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Batch Records (BR) as needed
• Cleaning of laboratory area on a regular basis
• Maintain inventory of disposable and perishable items
• Perform work in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
• Assist in preparation of investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) program

Requirements:
• Good oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics skills are required.
• Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Understanding and working knowledge of sterile technique.

Location: Everett, PA
Position: Small Animal Technician
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this individual is to maintain the overall health and well-being of the rabbits including cage and facility maintenance. This would include the feeding and watering of rabbits, administering treatments, as well as swapping, cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all animal housing units and animal facilities.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Feeding, watering, and administering treatments, including observing and reporting any signs of disease/illness and help to treat minor cases of such findings.
• Scraping, chipping, and dusting, animal caging units
• Swapping/rotating animal.caging units
• Disassembling/assembling, cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all animal caging units including feeders, water bottles, and enrichment items
• Facility maintenance including, HVAC, water systems, light fixtures, etc.
• Responsible for completing accurate reports documentation records including maintenance sheet, room temperature log, animal treatments, and animal inventory
• Maintaining the rabbit breeding program
• Tattooing of rabbits
• RODAC testing, pre and post cleaning
• Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of supplies needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent preferred but not required
• AALAS certification, and familiarity with USDA and AAALAC regulatory requirements a plus
• Good oral and written communication skills (English), mathematics skills, and good attention to detail are required.
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively while working in a team oriented setting
• 1 year minimum of relevant working experience
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull at minimum 3Olbs

Location: Everett, PA
Position: Crop Manager
Job Description:
The person will primarily be responsible for producing crops for the Everett and Ottsville farms, shopping for best price on seeds and fertilizer, maintaining tractors and other farm equipment, and maintaining crop fields in good standing.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Providing 1,800 round bales of hay per year
• Providing 9,000 1st cutting square bales of hay per year
• Providing 3,000 2nd cutting square bales of hay per year
• Providing 3,500 square straw bales per year.
This person is primarily responsible for all crop production and rotation of crops. There is 450 acres of tillable ground including pasture. You will be responsible for planting crops, maintaining a good spray program, harvesting crops, all hay and straw production, maintaining good yields and clean fields.
On rainy days and off seasons, you will also be responsible for all manure management where you spread, and when to spread. You will have to work well with others and plan with the production team when you can clean pens. You will have to build a relationship with local businesses as well as plan ahead for what the next years hay and straw needs will be.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• # years minimum of relevant working experience

Location: Ottsville PA
Position: Farm Manager
Job Description:
Manage all employee’s, production, equipment and crop maintenance as it pertains to the Ottsville Farm facility.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Ensure all animals are treated in a humane manner in accordance with Lampire’s policies and requirements
• Ensure all requirements of the farm are executed on time and in a compliant manner
• Oversee all large animal technicians, maintenance technicians and feed technicians.
• Maintain compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
• Serve as example within the facility upholding all Lampire’s corporate policies as well as the Quality policy.
• Oversee training of staff
• Oversee production ensuring it gets done in a compliant manner and arrange schedules as needed
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of all farm equipment as per QA 200 55.
• Ensure personnel are following cGMP requirements such as using material from approved vendors, using material that is within expiry, using equipment that is within calibration/PM, only using approved materials, using current approved versions of SOP’s and client specifications, requesting variances and performing NCR’s as needed.
• Assist in preparation of CAPA’s and investigation reports. Assist with internal and external audits Interacting with contractors, obtaining bids, working capital projects in detail. Wok with laboratory manager to create efficiencies in the processes and how they run between the lab and farm facility.

Requirements:
• Minimum of a HS Diploma with 3-5 years of experience in Animal Husbandry or related field
• Working knowledge of large-scale farm equipment (example: tractor, manure spreader, bailer)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working on a large-scale farm
• Good oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics skills are required
• Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively

Education:
• Minimum High School /GED, degree in science or similar field a plus, or equivalent experience

Location: Ottsville, PA
Position: Handyman/Maintenance
Job Description:
This position is responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facilities and equipment according to safety objectives. Additionally, experience with carpentry, mechanics, landscaping and snow removal is needed. Previous experience operating heavy equipment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Self-starter, capable of managing multiple projects and/or assignments.
• Ability to manage supervisor’s expectations, and to work and manage a schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must have had license for 3+ years.
• Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be a team player and open to learning new tasks

Requirements:
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of facilities and performs scheduled maintenance repairs as needed.
• Perform mechanical duties and responsibilities.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools in performing duties.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Education:

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Ensure all requirements of the department are executed in a timely and compliant manner. This may include production and quality activities.

• Ensure facilities needs are addressed in a timely manner which may include equipment calibration and maintenance, pest management, environmental monitoring and general cleaning and housekeeping.
• Ensure personnel are following cGMP requirements such as using material from approved vendors, using material that is within expiry, using equipment that is within calibration/PM, only using approved materials, using current approved versions of SOPs and client specs, requesting VAR and NCRs when needed, shipping only material approved for release etc.
• Initiates an assists with Validations and Change Controls, when needed.

To package, ship and oversee facility shipping operations at Lampire with the goal of providing consistent, high quality products and services to our customers with complete and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Package and ship product for domestic and international shipments according to company standard operating procedures, as well as customer specifications.
• Maintain inventories of shipping supplies
