Position: Maintenance Technician
Job Description:
The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain farm facilities and farm equipment according to safety objectives. Additionally, experience with carpentry, mechanics, landscaping and snow removal is needed. Previous experience operating heavy equipment is highly desirable. Position is based on a working farm, prior experience working on a farm is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain farm equipment and the farm facility’s equipment
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of farm facilities and performs scheduled maintenance repairs as needed
• Responsible for a variety of landscaping jobs
• Perform mechanical duties and responsibilities on farm equipment
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, farm equipment and farm facilities
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
• Use a variety of hand and power tools in performing duties
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Requirements:
• Self-starter, capable of managing multiple projects and/or assignments
• Ability to manage supervisor’s expectations, and to work and manage a schedule
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must have had license for 3+ years
• Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be a team player and open to learning new tasks
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extremes in temperature, moving mechanical parts and farm equipment. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.

Education:

Location: Everett, PA
Position: PT Weekend/Holiday Feeder
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this individual is to maintain the overall health and well-being of the rabbits. This position will be responsible for the weekend and holiday care including feeding, administering treatments, verifying and administering injections when required, and cleaning and maintaining the anima colonies as well as the feed storage area.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Feeding, watering, and administering treatments, including observing and reporting any signs of disease/illness and help to treat minor cases of such findings
• Clean and maintain the animal colonies
• Responsible for completing accurate reports documentation records including maintenance sheet, room temperature log, animal treatments, and animal inventory
• Verify, document and/or administer injections to rabbits on project when required
• Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of supplies needed

Requirements:
• Good oral and written communication skills (English), mathematics skills, and good-attention to detail are required
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively while working in a team oriented setting
• Animal handling experience a plus.

Job Description:
Responsible for small and large scale production, processing of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, purification, labeling, and conjugation of proteins.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Knowledge of small and large scale production

Position: Quality Assurance Technician II
Job Description:
The QA Specialist II is responsible and accountable for quality tasks and operations. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of Quality principles, practices and procedures. Supports change control process, CAPA system, deviation process, nonconforming material process, customer complaints, supplier approval, material receiving, internal audit process and document control. Requires experience in ISO-9001/ ISO-13485 or cGMP manufacturing environment plus demonstrated familiarity with standard quality concepts.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Must be able to take a leadership role in Quality-related decisions
• Proactively ensures batch records are reviewed prior to material release, ensuring paperwork is completed accurately, neatly and fully
• Performs thorough root cause analysis and establishes in-depth and robust corrective and preventative actions for both internal non-conformances and customer complaints
• Assesses materials received against internal procedures and performs the necessary approval to release materials
• Ability to read unplanned deviations, change controls, validations and other technical documents/reports to identify errors and/or potential non-compliance issues and to assess potential product/process risk
• Complete supplier approval paperwork for new incoming suppliers
• Participate in internal audits and inspections including planning for audits, execution, and follow-up on audit findings
• Assists in the tracking and maintenance of document control activities
• Write, revise and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and custom specifications
• Become thoroughly knowledgeable of the applicable SOPs and maintain that knowledge base

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience

Education:

Location: Coopersburg, PA
Position: Lab Manager
Job Description:
Supervise and manage all personnel at the Coopersburg Lab and support production requirements.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Ensure all requirements of the department are executed in a timely and compliant manner. This may include production and quality activities.
• Maintain compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
• Serve as the example within the department upholding all Lampire’s corporate policies, as well as the Quality Policy.
• Provide training for all department/facility staff.
• Ensure facilities needs are addressed in a timely manner which may include equipment calibration and maintenance, pest management, environmental monitoring and general cleaning and housekeeping.
• Ensure personnel are following cGMP requirements such as using material from approved vendors, using material that is within expiry, using equipment that is within calibration/PM, only using approved materials, using current approved versions of SOPs and client specs, requesting VAR and NCRs when needed, shipping only material approved for release etc.
• Initiates an assists with Validations and Change Controls, when needed.
• Assist in preparation of investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) program.
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Windows based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively both orally and written
• Works well with personnel from other functional areas and is willing to hold all staff accountable

Education:
Bachelors/Associates degree in science or similar field, or equivalent experience

Position: Global Shipping Supervisor
Job Description:
Oversee company-wide shipping operations to ensure an efficient, effective and profitable organization and release of shipments according to company procedures and client specifications.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Ensure all orders are processed in a manner which promotes adherence to company and client specifications
• Ensure that all shipping personnel and facilities have the training and tools necessary to ship in accordance to company and client specifications
• Review and update shipping SOPs as needed to ensure shipping methods remain relevant and up to date
• Maintain knowledge of current international import/export requirements
• Communicate status of shipping activities to appropriate personnel
• Oversee acquisition of materials
• Document summary of current approved vendors for shipping materials
• Shop for new vendors shipping materials to ensure purchase of the most effective and best quality materials
• Maintaining shipping records so clients can have access to tracking and shipping history upon request
• Generate shipping output documents as required
• Shop rates for prepaid shipments to ensure the company is getting the best possible rates on freight
• Review and audit freight bills for billing accuracy
• Participate in shipping and transportation related project teams
• Act as a point of contact for root cause and corrective action to resolve customer related shipping issues.

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must have had license for 3+ years.

Position: Molecular Biologist
Job Description: Seeking a highly motivated Research Associate I/II with a background in Molecular Biology to assist in the development of new technologies including CRISPR genome engineering and recombinant antibody generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for learning, researching and implementing recombinant DNA approaches to support research team needs, as well as designing work-flows, and assay development.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Prepare and process biological samples including immune cell isolation
• Perform PCR, Plasmid construction and DNA /RNA isolation
• Maintain and archive DNA clones, and bacterial glycerol stocks
• Culturing, maintaining and characterizing primary mammalian cells and cell lines
• Transfecting cell-lines and/or primary cells
• Phenotypic analysis of mammalian cells using flow cytometry and FACS analysis
• Compiling data to support/contribute to technical reports
• Develop an expanding technical and theoretical knowledge base in molecular biology with a growing understanding of the scientific literature in relevant areas of research
• Maintain familiarity with literature to propose and implement improved procedures and protocols, and to aid in problem solving
• Follow and adhere to SOPs and laboratory safety regulations

Job Description:

This would include the feeding and watering of rabbits, administering treatments, as well as swapping, cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all animal housing units and animal facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
• Feeding, watering, and administering treatments, including observing and reporting any signs of disease/illness and help to treat minor cases of such findings
• Scraping, chipping, and dusting, animal caging units
• Swapping/rotating animal caging units
• Disassembling/assembling, cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all animal caging units including feeders, water bottles, and enrichment items
• Facility maintenance including, HVAC, water systems, light fixtures, etc.
• Responsible for completing accurate reports documentation records including maintenance sheet, room temperature log, animal treatments, and animal inventory
• Maintaining the rabbit breeding program
• Tattooing of rabbits
• RODAC testing, pre and post cleaning
• Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of supplies needed


Requirements:
• 1 year minimum of relevant working experience
• Good oral and written communication skills (English), mathematics skills, and good attention to detail are required
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively while working in a team oriented setting
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull at minimum 50lbs
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations a plus
• Experience with farm equipment specifically tractors, manure spreader, skid steer a plus


Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, a Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent preferred but not required
• AALAS certification, and familiarity with USDA and AAALAC regulatory requirements a plus
