Position: Administrative Assistant
Job Description: Lampire Biological Laboratories, Inc. is currently seeking a Personal Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Administrator and Company President.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Managing emails
• Meeting folder creation
• Logging outlook calendar appointments
• Updating meeting binders
• Making travel arrangements- air and hotel reservations
• Ordering gifts and wrapping gifts
• Grocery store runs
• Setting up/ cleaning conference rooms for meetings

Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Windows-based computer skills to include proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Position is based out of Ottsville, PA with weekly travel to Pipersville Facility
• Must be flexible with availability

Hours will range from 10am to 6pm or 11am to 7pm, with some later evenings and earlier start times as dictated by the work load

Education:

Location: Coopersburg, PA
Position: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description: To collect, process and package various abattoir sourced animal blood and/or tissues at the Coopersburg Lab and/or off-site abattoir/vendor locations as need to support production requirements.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Prepare abattoir blood and tissue products according to established bath records and work orders
• Ability to research and investigate animal anatomy via reference manuals, professional references and/or the internet to determine course of action as it relates to specific harvests
• Maintain lot number, batch and equipment logbooks in accordance with established procedures
• Perform on-line inspection of components/product and immediately notify supervisor of any problems
• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of inventory records
• Order inventory or supplies as needed
• Ensure that all operations are in compliance with existing procedures, manufacturing work instructions and GMPs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Observe safety regulations and practices on site and off site
• Use good communication and interpersonal skills to maintain excellent in-house customer relations with all functions
• Assist in the cross training of manufacturing technician(s)
• Assist in other manufacturing operations as required

Requirements:
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must have had license for 3+ years
• 1-2 years of previous manufacturing/production experience
• Good oral and written communications skills (English) and mathematical skills required
• Windows based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations
• Ability to use various hand and power tools
• Ability to use light and heavy material handling equipment and lift up to 75lbs
• Basic mechanical aptitude for simple maintenance of equipment desirable

Position: Customer Service/Sales/Marketing
Job Description: Team player needed for administrative position to join customer service/sales and marketing department. This job requires interpersonal skills as it serves as the first point of contact with customers and colleagues and attention to detail which is essential to processing orders, quotes and record-keeping. The candidate must possess the skill set required and have a fundamental desire to help improve productivity and effectiveness of the team.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
•Serve as the first contact with customers, vendors and partners when they first call
•Work closely with internal and external clients, Sales team and marketing to implement specific project requirements
•Take in orders and enter them in to the system completely and correctly, including the preferred delivery method
•Review completed orders for peers
•Facilitate communication between multiple departments to ensure completion of tasks and milestones

Position: Cell Culture Technician
Job Description: Candidate will be responsible for scheduling, preparing, and performing cell culture and cell banking activities such as Hybridoma development and growing of monoclonal cells in culture, and to document activities accurately, with the goal of providing consistent, high quality products and services to our customers with complete, accurate documentation.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Routine Buffer preparation for all processes being performed in the department
• Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BR) as needed
• Perform the functions and related tasks in regards Mab and cell culture activities
• Operate basic laboratory and analytical equipment
• Inspection of cell banking storage units
• Compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in relation to Monoclonal Department
• Cleaning of laboratory areas on a regular basis
• Maintain inventory of disposable and perishable items
• Perform work in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)

Location: Everett, PA
Position: Molecular Biologist
Job Description: Seeking a highly motivated Research Associate I/II with a background in Molecular Biology to assist in the development of new technologies including CRISPR genome engineering and recombinant antibody generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for learning, researching and implementing recombinant DNA approaches to support research team needs, as well as designing work-flows, and assay development.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Prepare and process biological samples including immune cell isolation
• Perform PCR, Plasmid construction and DNA /RNA isolation
• Maintain and archive DNA clones, and bacterial glycerol stocks
• Culturing, maintaining and characterizing primary mammalian cells and cell lines
• Transfecting cell-lines and/or primary cells
• Phenotypic analysis of mammalian cells using flow cytometry and FACS analysis
• Compiling data to support/contribute to technical reports
• Develop an expanding technical and theoretical knowledge base in molecular biology with a growing understanding of the scientific literature in relevant areas of research
• Maintain familiarity with literature to propose and implement improved procedures and protocols, and to aid in problem solving
• Follow and adhere to SOPs and laboratory safety regulations

Requirements:

Position: Small Animal Weekend/Holiday Feeder
Job Description: The primary responsibility of this individual is to maintain the overall health and well-being of the rabbits. This position will be responsible for the weekend and holiday care including feeding, administering treatments, verifying and administering injections when required, and cleaning and maintaining the anima colonies as well as the feed storage area.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Feeding, watering, and administering treatments, including observing and reporting any signs of disease/illness and help to treat minor cases of such findings
• Clean and maintain the animal colonies
• Responsible for completing accurate reports documentation records including maintenance sheet, room temperature log, animal treatments, and animal inventory
• Verify, document and/or administer injections to rabbits on project when required.
• Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of supplies needed

Location: Everett, PA
Position: Small Animal Technician
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this individual is to maintain the overall health and well-being of the rabbits including cage and facility maintenance. This would include the feeding and watering of rabbits, administering treatments, as well as swapping, cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all animal housing units and animal facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
• Feeding, watering, and administering treatments, including observing and reporting any signs of disease/illness and help to treat minor cases of such findings
• Scraping, chipping, and dusting, animal caging units
• Swapping/rotating animal caging units
• Disassembling/assembling, cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all animal caging units including feeders, water bottles, and enrichment items
• Facility maintenance including, HVAC, water systems, light fixtures, etc.
• Responsible for completing accurate reports documentation records including maintenance sheet, room temperature log, animal treatments, and animal inventory
• Maintaining the rabbit breeding program
• Tattooing of rabbits
• RODAC testing, pre and post cleaning
• Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of supplies needed


Requirements:
• 1 year minimum of relevant working experience
• Good oral and written communication skills (English), mathematics skills, and good attention to detail are required
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively while working in a team oriented setting
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull at minimum 50lbs
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations a plus
• Experience with farm equipment specifically tractors, manure spreader, skid steer a plus


Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, a Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent preferred but not required
• AALAS certification, and familiarity with USDA and AAALAC regulatory requirements a plus

• Document findings and job completions in the required logs

Position: Large Animal Technician
Job Description: Animal technician to perform manual and semi-skilled work in connection with feeding, cleansing and care of large animals. Duties include maintaining animal health and birthing records, observing and reporting on animals for signs of disease/disorders. Assist with treatments for disease/disorders. Perform routine maintenance of farm facility.

Requirements: Some heavy lifting involved. Must have valid driver’s license. Must be a team player, enjoy working with animals and outdoors. Demonstrates a commitment to quality of care of animals. Familiarity with USDA, AAALAC requirements a plus. Tractor/Farm equipment experience a plus.
