This position will be responsible for the final release testing of finished products
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
•Perform all Quality Control (QC) testing functions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
•Help establish the new QC testing area, validate the new methods and assist with SOP and batch record creation.
•Routine Diluent/Agar preparation for all materials being manufactured in the department.
•Compliance with all SOPs, Batch Records and client specifications within the Quality System.
•Operate analytical and basic laboratory equipment.
•Completion of all paperwork in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
•Assist in preparation of all investigation reports and additional testing required by the client or as part of a CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action) program
•Minimum of a BS or MS in Microbiology with 3-5 years' experience in the food industry, Biotech industry or healthcare industry.
•Performed standard sterility testing as well as Pour plate methodologies and use of homogenizers.
•Batch Record and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) writing and revision.
•Knowledge of routine lab equipment plus homogenizers.
•Preparation of different agars as well as controls for Microbiological assays.
•Performed Method Validation for processes as well as IQ/OQ/PQ of equipment.
•Good oral and written communications skills (English) and mathematics skills are required.
•Good understanding of the metric system and scientific notation.
•Windows based computer skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
•Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations..
