HERSHEY, PA — LAMPIRE Biological Laboratories, Inc. was selected by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Career and Technical Education, to receive the Education Workforce Leadership Award. The award was presented at the Pennsylvania Partners 24th Annual Employment, Training and Education Conference held on May 8, 2008 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, PA.
LAMPIRE Biological Laboratories and the Greater Johnstown CTC were chosen for this year's award because of the collaboration and commitment to the "Adventures in Biotechnology" and related programs.
Pennsylvania Partners represents workforce development professional in Pennsylvania's Workforce Investment Areas. The annual conference is one of the largest workforce development conferences in the country.
