Stroma

LAMPIRE offers Bovine and Equine Stroma. To manufacture Stroma, whole blood is aseptically drawn from normal, healthy animals. The red blood cells are washed with saline and lysed with a hypotonic potassium phosphate solution. The solution is clarified via centrifugation, and the resulting pellet is washed to isolate the stroma. The hemoglobin is removed through repeated washes, until the wash solution is clear and the Stroma (cell debris) is a light pink color. Stroma is sold as a lyophilized powder, but can also be prepared as a frozen liquid upon request. This product is not intended for use in transfusion or surgical applications....Read more
