LAMPIRE is offering high-quality hybridoma development at an exceptionally affordable price. Our services are meticulously designed to cater to the requirements of both industry professionals and academic researchers. We initiate each project with a FREE Antigen Design consultation and a series of Project Scope & Definition Meetings. These projects are divided into three distinct phases, each with its dedicated billing cycle, allowing you to manage your expenses efficiently throughout the project's duration. Here's an overview of each phase:

Phase I: Project Design and Immunization

Kickstarting your project begins with a Project Scope meeting with our technical experts to ensure its success. Following the arrival of the antigen, animals are immunized according to the approved protocol. Titers are closely monitored through ELISA until they reach the desired level for cell fusion. Any subsequent injections and test bleeds are carried out after consultation with our technical staff.

Phase II: Cell Fusion

After the selection of candidate animals, we determine the required number of fusion plates and perform the fusions. Fusion plates undergo ELISA screening to identify specific hybridoma cell lines. It's worth noting that obtaining the desired hybrid cell line may necessitate multiple fusions. Approval from the client is sought before performing the fusions and incurring associated charges.

Phase III: Cloning

Positive cell lines from Phase II are expanded to generate sufficient culture. We employ limiting dilution techniques to subclone the identified positive cell lines. Typically, three cell lines are chosen for Phase III, but this number can be adjusted based on your specific requirements. The expansion cultures of selected positive cell lines are preserved in liquid nitrogen. Additionally, we offer the option to cryopreserve up to fifteen individual positive cell lines at LAMPIRE or up to 100 as pools. Upon request, these cell lines can be shipped to you. Recloning of selected positives is carried out as necessary to ensure stability in antibody production, with clones required to exhibit >95% antigen-specific antibody production to be considered stable.
