Abattoir Tissue, Organ, And Fluid Preparations:
- Media Perfusion: Tissues/Organs can be Shipped In LAMPIRE DMEM or the media of your choice, with or without an antibiotic.
- Snap Frozen: Fresh collected and snap frozen in liquid nitrogen.
- Lyophilized: Some tissues and fluids can be freeze-dried to prolong shelf-life.
Abattoir Bovine & Porcine Hides:
LAMPIRE is the industry leader in raw materials for corium and collagen production. Hides are collected and processed to customer specifications, then frozen for delivery. LAMPIRE is approved to collect and direct export hides domestically and internationally. Our facilities and staff are field trained to meet all your production needs. Hides may be processed and shipped in a variety of formats, please inquire for a custom quote. Listed below are some common product offerings:
- Intact & Unprocessed Hides: Hides are collected from USDA-inspected facilities by LAMPIRE technicians. Hides are cleaned, trimmed of all extraneous tissue and packaged to your specifications for shipment.
- Fleshed Hides: Hides are collected and processed as above. In addition, LAMPIRE fleshes the hides to remove the hypodermis layer. Upon final cleaning and inspection, hides are packaged to your specifications for shipment.
- Fleshed & Split Hides: Hides are collected and processed as above. In addition, LAMPIRE fleshes and splits the hides to remove the epidermis layer, effectively isolating the corium layer. Upon final cleaning and inspection, hides are packaged to your specifications for shipment.
- Fleshed, Split, & Limed Hides: Hides are collected and processed as stated above. In addition, LAMPIRE limes the corium layer for further collagen purification. Limed hides are put through a final rinse process, inspected, then frozen and stored for shipment.

Storage Conditions:
