LAMPIRE’s Human Washed Red Blood Cells are collected from individual donors at FDA-licensed centers and are tested using FDA-approved methods to ensure quality and safety. All units are confirmed negative for Hepatitis B, Syphilis, HIV, and Anti-HCV, and are non-reactive for HIV-1 and Hepatitis. Each unit of whole blood is collected in a bottle containing Alsever’s solution, then processed and washed in Alsever’s to achieve the desired suspension concentration—available in 5%, 10%, or 100% red cell suspensions. LAMPIRE offers customizable options including donor gender (Male, Female, or Unspecified) and blood type (O, A, B, or Not Specified), allowing clients to tailor products to specific research needs.
